Okay, so today in class, during English, our subject of focusness was on poetry. The teacher randomly put us all into groups of three (with one group of two, considering our even number of twenty-six) and gave us colored cards with random words on it. The directions were to use at least one or more of the words on the cards to form lines of poetry. So my group started with pink cards and we rotated. Pink to black, yellow to pink, blah blah blah. I helped my group partially form a poem about how kids love the Summer while they did the rest. You see, I was working on my own poem (which I was not going to turn in of course) and it turned out sort of not making sense but the parts that didn't make sense did, at least to me (I knew what I was writing so of course I would find that it all made sense), but that could not be helped anyway because of the random words we were forced to use.

The eternal tree
is a tree that stands alone.
A voice that choruses a wish.
A beautiful voice of hidden misery
Unknown light in the distance,
A glorious mask of cold.
A breeze forever whispering
Bold reality crashes
Time schemes cruelly
Endure the sharp frost,
Dissolving the soul,
Cursing the sky,
Gripping struggling birds.
Its heart screams
Death, denial, distress.
The roses murmur "forget."
The withered evening,
Soft, gentle, and bright.
Winter twists loving passion into black hate.
Danger in the bleary air,
Soft anguish springs to life.
Slippery silver rain
quiets the dreadful forest.
