She also happens to have a pet dragon as a secret from her parents. A few weeks after her birthday her parents send her back to Japan and she lives with Karisa for a while.

Hikaru is the demon that is betrothed to Koyomi. He doesn't understand human emotion so when he meets Koyomi for the first time he believes that she hates him but to Koyomi she thinks he hates her. (Drama XD!) He then later finds out thanks to Karisa that Koyomi doesn't express emotion and then comes to a decision to always protect Koyomi heart
