Anouther day..anouther summer put to an end. I know for the rest of you summer ended a long time ago, but I suppose I was still in my own little world. I had work today. It was the last day at #2, Cleaning Day. Fun. At one point I had to bring down a bunch of stuff to #1. Funny how they send the small one to go carry heavy boxes 5 blocks down the boardwalk. But comming back had grown dark, and I looked around, everything was closed. The peir was locked behind silver gates. The ferris wheel had no carts for people to sit in. All the rides were shut down. It was deserted. And I couldn't help but feel a sence of sadness, and peace. And I honestly just wanted to sit there for hours. Watching the blinking lites on the signs of the once busy arcades. Just lying there alone. In my newfound sanctuary as time stood still. Before I knew it Hunter came outside asking what I was doing. I just looked at him, and followed him back into the store obediently. With that to me the summer was over. Funny, isn't it? How the things that seem so definate, and solid are gone once you turn your back for a second. Still..it was so..I don't even know the word..there. It almost made me feel a part of it all. I was a part of it.
