Stupid arrogant people
Gah! frig! I was at church today and of course my preist HAD to bring up the subject of same sex marriage. I disagree with the church on this matter, so I hate it whenever he brings it up. He started going on about the conflict and the drastic mesures the church is using and how some preists are refusing their local mp's communion if they're for same sex marriage. Then he goes off on some analogy of what jesus would do, basically calling gay people sinner and comparing them to judas. He was talking about how jesus lowered himself to hang out with sinners, so we should do the same for gay people. Heck no!! I don't have to LOWER myself to anyone, we are all equal, no matter who we choose to love. Then he starts saying how he would never impose his opinions on others, especially those who's opinions are so much the oposite of his, even if jesus did say that we can't condone something we know is wrong. Blahdy-blahdy-blah. BS. Jesus never said nothing about disrespecting homosexuals. You're taking this interpretation from the bible, which was written by man, not GOD, MAN!!! Man, the same race who likes to change this to suit their fancy, whether or not it's true. So maybe Jesus did say something about gays. I still disagree with it, and I'm not too sure I would still follow this religion if it were true. Anyway, why would the preist drag that into mass if not to impose his views upon others! Why can't they just realise that just cause gays can marry, doesn't mean they have to marry 'em.
