A blank page is the worst nightmare of a writer, as a blank canvas is the worst enemy of an artist. Right now, this keyboard is my worst enemy, missing key strokes and such at the worst of times. That's right, I'm on my housemates lappy.

Anyway, tonight I will be typing up a small portion of the ideas flying through my head about my latest undertaking, a Pokemon fanfiction. Recently a new feature has been added to the Pokemon games, a virus known as Pokerus. This virus greatly increases your Pokemon's potential growth as it trains. For how long, I'm not sure, but it's there for sure. My question is, is it possible for this virus to mutate? And what would happen if it mutated and evolved into something horrible?

Hence we begin with our story, where a young Pokemon Ranger gets scratched by an infected Sandslash while out on a mission. His friends too, become infected when they come into contact with two other infected Pokemon while on the job. After that it's a hell of an adventure for the three of them, finding themselves at the mercy of the Government whom wishes to capture and study them, as well as various sects and criminal organisations (Team Rocket anyone?). Along the way they may meet others like themselves and learn valuable life lessons throughout their adventures.


Well, it's a summary at least, but now for the actual plot and the massive story that will come to pass. Perhaps I'll start that up when I feel my roleplaying and storytelling abilities are up to scratch. Then again, it is true what they say. "The artist is never satisfied with their work".
