Poem after poem after poem.....maybe I write too many of them.... -considers it- nope.

Title:
Sitting on the bent tree

All she wanted to say was I love you,
You, sitting there same as always, you haven’t changed one bit.
But to whom do you look the same?
Because to her you look so different,
But you are still the same.
On the other hand he has changed so much.
That raises the gossip of others,
And oh, they say, they talk of his changes
“I guess she can always count on him!”
But don’t be mad,
Didn’t you realize why she asked you never to change?
Everyone can see that you want to share what grows on the trees of this island,
But why don’t you have the courage to do it?
Didn’t you know that that tear that ran down her face,
Was for you?
He says “Thanks to you. After all if it weren’t for you I would have never thought of any of this”
But that’s exactly what you would have said, if only you had the courage.
Well, will you step forward?
“After all, it was you who decided we could all be friends”
He says “thank you”
She says “you’re welcome’
You sit there silent.
One day you’ll meet again,
And maybe then you’ll finally have realized you meant to say
“I love you”
