Living a lie
Wiping the tears that roll down my cheeks
And I see your angel face
But why can’t I move
Why can’t I speak?
Things don’t make sense anymore
I’m drowning in this world I thought I knew
And all I can see is you
There was once a heart that rested in my chest
But it’s gone now
It’ll never be able to put you back to sleep
And I wonder why it left
But then I realize
That once beautiful face cracks
And all there’s left is the memories
