Ever since I had to get rid of my Flickr account, I've been temporarily camping out on Photobucket. The only reason why I haven't used that place more is because I had Flickr, and I liked the interface better there.
But when needs become, I gotta get over my little technological ruts and expand my repertoire.
Eventually I come to the slow realization that all my interactions online are through "their" implementations of how "they" decide things work best... and then I get all upset and indignant for some reason, and then I just sigh and give up and learn a new thing.
It's the constant tug of war in one's mind between neophilia and neophobia.
I can't believe I'm talking about neophilia versus neophobia on Gaia of all the fscking places in the world.
I'd be talking about it over on Second Life if our computer was better.
