Angel gave up on asking questions and took a black notebook from his bag and started writing. Strange- Rennee thought-He never actually takes a book out of his bag, much less writes in one. She looked at him with a questioning stare, but he didn't notice her. Angel stopped writing and flipped back a few pages. Renee caught a glimpse of her name on one of them and her stare was even more quizical than before. This time Angel noticed, it was hard not to. Renee's stare looked as though she were trying to burn a hole in your head, even if it wasn't an angry stare.
" What?" Angel asked looking up from his book.
"Oh nothing, I just thought I saw something." Renee said with a fake smile. She returned to her book still wondering what, if anything Angel had written about her.
They sat through the rest of first period in silence. They both had the same second, third, and fourth period classes, in fact they had all the same classes. Renee figured she had all day to figure out what he'd written.
