It's funny how seeing or hearing something will trigger a whole chain of thought. I was just rereading "about Me" (OK I know my memory is shot, no need to rub it in!) and I thought about the "famous" question: Where were you when XXX happened?

1) JFK shot: Grade 4, French catholic school, Mother Superior announced it over the PA, We all got to go home early.
2) the deaths of Jimi Hendrix: Coming home from school, I saw my friend Frank Marino, now from the band Mahogany Rush, in tears on the train bridge, He told me.
3) Janis Joplin: I really don't remember, prob'ly wasted again.
4)Jim Morrison: At a friend's place (he's dead now, too) in his basement, stoned agin!
5) John Lennon: At home with my wife We cried together
6)Kurt Cobain: Who cares. He took the coward's way out. If you kill yourself, don't expect flowers from me.
