Chapter 1 Fall and Spring part 3
Fall rode along Forgotten road...wishful thinking is a luxury he can no longer afford along with love... Escape from what...He is waiting for you...He knows you to well...Who the hell are you...with a snap of his fingers...blacked out...no sense of time...
Spring looked outside her bedroom window, seeing only blackness. Though the moon was high and the stars were out, she could so no beauty the world held. Feeling empty, the elven girl sat on the edge of her rosy queen sized bed, covering her sadden face.
"Whats the point of going on if the man I love is forever lost to me?"she thought with shaking hands. A knife gleamed in the low lamp light, pale as her soft skin. "He's lost to me forever. I can never get him back..."
A soft knock came to her wooden door, bringing Spring from her thoughts. She tucked the knife away under a pillow and stood up, making sure her thin white nightgown was on properly. "Come in."
A tall and tanned elven man opened the door with ease and walked in. He's clothes were of high fashion, with black and red summer stones going down his jacket. He's black red shirt complimented his dark trousers, and his left ear was priced right at the tip. A smolder look was on his face as he over looked Spring. He's gray/green eyes seemed to be working out a problem and he didn't speak to her as he walked in and closed the door.
Spring watched him then sighed to herself, "Yes father?"
The elf man looked out the window she was just at a few moments ago and took out a pipe. He lit it and took a long puff before he said anything in his hard voice, "So Lantern as fled with his sister?"
Anger blossomed around her cheeks but she answered him calmly, "Yes father. Fall and Autumn have most likely left by now."
With a nod, the elf man looked at her out of the corner of his eyes, "You will miss him?"
"Always." She hugged her arms and sat down, looking at the purple carpet that comfort her feet. Sadness over came her anger towards her father but she manged to hold back her unwanted tears.
"I see." He put out his pipe then looked at her with a stone glare, "I know you suffer for him, but you must let him go. He might not be the burden you will have, but he comes from a line of blood that kills and becomes killed. Best to let him go dear." With a kiss to her forehead he left the room, a chill lingering in the air he had left.
Spring looked at the door for a long time. Tears slowly meet her bosom as she sobbed quietly. If only her father was not lieing about the blood in her lovers veins. If only her father was not right about her having to let him go. If only...
"If only I could find out why Fall actuality has to go," she said aloud to herself. Then the thought hit her and she stood up like an electric pole, "That's it!" A new light came into her eyes and she began to pace the floor with hope. Thoughts of adventure, fighting and true love came into her mind like water, finding foundation in her heart. The more she thought, the more she became determine with he new plan.
"It has to work. First I find out more about whatever it is that Autumn had done and then find out what I can do to fix it. Then my Fall can come back to me." She smiled at this and looked to her pillow and saw the handle of the knife probing out. She took the wooden handle and pulled it out slowly. The light caught the blade and it shone over her face. With a grin she lifted it and walked over to the window. She kept looking at the knife then out the window. Holding the blade up to the moon like blood.

Fall was lost in total blackness. He's dark skin tingled with a burning pain, like hot nails pricing his skin. Cries could be heard from far away. What was happening? Where was Winter and Autumn? That man...That man!!
Fear jolted threw him as he sat up quickly. He nearly hit his head on the lamp that was above him, but strong hands pushed him back down. He was blinded by the bright light and felt dizzy. He couldn't see anything but blurs of men standing over him. What were they saying?
"Is it him?" said a cold yet worried voice.
"Yup." said a more cold and clam voice, "Boss said to let him live for now. Same with the young girl. The older one however...."
"Kill her?" asked voice one worried
A smirk could be heard in the second voice, "Oh no...We can have fun with her."
Laughter. Sounds of feet tugging the floor left him there alone on the wooden table. He couldn't focus and soon he was over come by the darkness once more.
"What are they going to do to Winter?" was his last thought.
