Well, it has finally begun. Mi-chan and I have started the anime club, or at least getting the anime club together. We asked the media teacher Miss Havers today if she would sponor us, but she can't. Volley ball and she has a wedding in May so that sucks, but she says she's going to talk to other teachers and see if someone will be willing to run it.
Unfortunatly though, I won't see her for another week because next day 1 is the literacy test and she's helping with that, friday she's away at a conference, which means I won't have her in homeroom till next tuesday. Oh well, at least we know she'll talk to the teachers about it.
The problem is we need access to a classroom, tv, VCR and DVD player to watch stuff and we are figuring after school would be the best time to watch anime as OVAs can easily go for over an hour and lunch is only an hour at our school, and most doing the little poll Mi-chan and I did for seeing who might join a lot are busy in lunch. Either with other clubs (or like me) are in math help a lot which could almost be their own club with the number of people showing up at lunch, and a lot regulars (like myself).
So yeahs, this should be interesting indeed. Hopefully we'll have it running for decemeber. If that is the case then we shall see about Anime North. I have already decided I am going whether my parents know I am or not.
