Oh. My. Gosh. I've just realized how fortunate I am to have such awesome friends. It was after a concert that I happened to bring one of my friends to (airdemon221). We were waiting for a ride home with our three other friends (MaeMae93, kiyoneXD, and hii-chan-o_O). I had just called around for transportation, and all 3 of the family members that are capable of driving seemed to be booked, so that left me decidedly depressed, feeling like I was a horrible person for leaving me and my other friend stranded without a ride.
It just so happened that my three friends' parents/aunt came to pick them up and airdemon221 asked permission to go home with them. So now she had a ride and I did not, and that made me feel even more horrible because my mother had said I couldn't go with them. So I was to be left there all alone, waiting for a ride that would obviously take along time to come. And, to my shame, I lost it and started to cry. As I sat on the sidewalk feeling sorry for myself and mad at my patheticness (if that's a word) for crying in front of my friends, I happened to look up and see kiyoneXD step out of her car with her dog Cowboy and sit beside me.
I asked her, "You're not leaving?"
And she answered, "Of course not. We'd never leave a friend out here alone."
I found myself crying again.
And the others came out of the car and cheered me up with their words of Gaia profiles and T-Brand Tacos until my [family member] came to pick me up.
I'll never forget what they did, as simple as they must have thought it was.
And I continue to thank God for the wonderful friends that he has given me.
I love you airdemon221, hii-chan-o_O, MaeMae93 and kiyoneXD. And Cowboy, of course. You all mean so much to me. Y'all the bestest friends eva!! whee
