Don't Give Up It's Not The End
Well, I know it's still another week away, but I thought I'd post something about it now so that you guys, whomever you guys are that read this entries of mine, will now, if you want to know, that I'm going to be away all next weekend. I wish it was this weekend, I'm so psyched about going I can't wait.
Anyways, Friday night, sometime after school, me and my three friends: Adam, Brandon, and Adam's Brother Jeffery are driving down to this massive Concert Play thing thats at some Colosseum, I forget the name of it...
And there's going to be like 20 some-odd bands there, and they're going to do a small play that goes along with what they normally talk about.
It's called ATF "Acquire The Fire" for those who didn't know what I was talking about, and I'm sure that's a lot of you...
And well it's a Christian thing that they do about this time every year and over 5000 people go, least I think that's the number. 8000 people went two years ago when I first went with my Youth Group, so I'm assuming it's going to be really crowded this time around as it's two years later and everyone's inviting their friends to go, lol.
They talk about how people that don't acquire faith for God, and no I'm not preaching and telling you you're going to burn in Hell for the rest of your life if you don't come. But I'm sure you'd enjoy it if you did, but that's up to you. And they talk about this and try to get as many people that are there with them that aren't Christian, or part of this Relationship with God everyone else has, they try and give you that, try and give you something that you're missing.
And I mean when I first went I didn't know what to expect out of it, but holy crap am I glad I went 2 years ago. It was amazing. I mean the play they put on was so amazingly well done, the music was so awesome and... it was just awesome.
Anyways, that's not till next Friday, but I can't wait for it. I enjoyed it the first time, I'm sure I'll enjoy it even more this time around as now I understand what they're doing a little bit more than I did 2 years ago.
