this flood washed away everything i own.
leaving behind
the dead and grime.
i am so alone.

but the waters are pushing me, this way.
and all i can say is it's ok.
cleaning up this mess,
it doesn't hurt im numb.
memeories,
i tell myself i'm dumb.

built a new house and it's cozyness is gone
it's already gone stale.
it just feels so wrong.
the love is now pale.

so here comes the flood, here comes the flood.
this flood washed away everything i own.
sending out the dove,
and i am not alone.

warm and
filled with light.
the feeling is
just so right.
i hope i can stay.

so now that the water has gone away.
and we can see the light of day.
