A sudden pain shoots through my neck and shoulders, I didn't see him coming, the glint of his fangs are just a memory now. I can hear my heart beat skip every so often. I reach for my neck and feel the crunchiness of his hair due to the endless spritz of the hair spray. I try to scream out, to attract attention in the dusky air, but all that comes out of my slowly fading lips were small yelps and moans.

My body is enjoying the attention, when all that are running through my mind is vampires.. the vampires are real. All those warnings are true. My hands and feet being to grow cold and my knees fade away. Around my waist I feel his hands hold me up, his tongue runs against my deathly white skin.

My mind screams out and my eyelids droop, his hand lets go of my waist and I drop to my knees, slowly I reach back up to my neck with what feels like a arm weighing a ton. I slowly run my fingers across the jagged bite wounds, bringing them back I was stunned at the sight of my own blood. By now I should be used to it- but there's always a firs- My body limply falls to the ground.

I'm lying here in the grass, slowly dying. I can see the scarlet red of my blood shimmering in the darkness.

'Why me?' A soft voice whispers in my head 'What have I done to deserve this?..' It chants over and over again

The darkness closes upon me, my body growing colder with each passing second.

"Why.." I mutter, looking at the passing shadowy body. Choking on my blood now, my vision seeming to dim. "...Why.."

Now I can see the glint of his fangs as he grins darkly at me, slowly, he tosses a black partially wilted rose on my small body. And he turns his back.
"W..wait.." I softly mutter, jaggedly reaching my hand up as his shadowy figure grows smaller and smaller. "I.. don't want to d-d-die.."

He stops and instantly is at my side, laughing darkly, the same laugh that used to lull me out of my bed to my window at night.

"Dear child.. You'll be risen after death.." Just as soon as he was at my side, he disappears.

I began to grow cold all over.

I'm left alone..

In this damned darkness.
