I walk in the shadow of darkness before me
I walk alone with no help
I have been about it
I have done terrible things people would not believe
I walk in the shadow of a darkness alone and frightened
Nothing has happened, but yet something will happen
I just know it
Darkness is before me and darkness is behind me
I have no light nor do I see one
People’s misery is the darkness around me
I have been walking in people’s misery for so lone with no help from them nor help from me
I am walking in the shadow of darkness
I am walking in the shadow of people’s misery
I am the darkness
I am the death
I am the misery
