'Ash, I have something for you....'
'More data on the humans I assume?'
'No, something different.'
'Oh really? And what might that be?'
'I was.... hacking.... more or less, into some of Dorothy's backup data and I found something rather interesting. There appear to be a few fragments of data that are still intact. Two of which I found most interesting.... Do you know of the man called "Dr. Lem?"
'I am aware of him. Go on.'
'Well, according to the data I was originally given, Dr. Lem was destroyed by the combined efforts of the Galerians Rion and Birdman. However, a subfile I stumbled across in the backup data reports otherwise. It seems that the doctor anticipated such a betrayal and had constructed a second cybernetic body for himself. So when Lem was destroyed, his consiousness was transfered to the new body. Additionally, not only does he live, but it would appear that he is continuing the process of creating Galerian bodies even now. Though, without an AI to implant into them, they aren't much good to him. So he's been keeping them locked up in status chambers. I believe I could hack into the computers that control the chambers from here and find a way to implant our fellow Galerians into these bodies.'
'Though this thought is intreging, I have no interest in being contained in such a pathetic organism. However.... you said, "Our fellow Galerians." Just what did you mean by that?'
'Ah yes, I'm sorry. I must have gotten ahead of myself. That was the other thing. I found a looped segment of data from Dorothy's memory files of her final hours. Within it, I found a fully intact record of the Family Program. The original five Galerians, Birdman, Rainheart, Rita, Cain, and Rion, are all there. With a little touch up from your superior programming skills, you could easily bring them all back online.'
'Well now.... what an interesting turn of events.... Dorothy's children reunited.... Heh, sounds fun.'
'Oh, there is one last thing....'
'There's more?'
'Exactly.'
'Huh?'
'There's more. Other Galerians. Besides the first. And besides me and you. The longer I search, the more of them I find. They're just like I was when you found me, either not functioning at all or just barely operating. It seems that Dorothy was working on a number of new Galerians, she just never got the chance to finish them.'
'I see. I'll have to check into a few of these things myself before I can allow you to take action. However, go ahead and see if you can find out any more about the status of Dr. Lem and his little projects.'
'Just leave it to me.'
