A Place in life
The sun rises and so do I ,
A cup of coffee and a piece of pie.
A little boy and his mother,
His sister and his brother.
The trucker over in the corner half asleep,
Feeling like he has been beat.
The young couple on their honeymoon,
That wanted to sleep until noon.
The preacher on the phone,
Wanting to go home.
The waitress dead on her feet,
Wanting to go home and sleep.
What does it all mean?
We all have a place in life.
We do what we can to serve.
Sometimes we look but we don't see,
I'm just glad to be free (to be me ) !
