Yesterday, I looked for Mr. Licorice. I did the main road, and the road behind our house. Nothing. Then, around 8:20, we were talking about him, when he came up to the door. He was skinnier than usual, his tail was mangled, and he was walking shakily. We offered him food and water. He didn't take any. We rushed him to the vet, and it was now 8:30. When we got into the exam room, they told us that his tail had to be amputated. The vet did some X-rays. He had trauma to the spine, and pelvic fractures. He had to stay at the vet overnight. He will probably be getting surgery today. Mr. Licorice has a chance of dying. It was 10:30 when we got home, and 12:00 when I fell asleep.
