It so happens that I was wrong about the heat. It was killer! We hadn't even gotten halfway to the halfway point and I was dying. LOL. Saaaaad, I know. I instantly regretted not bringing the water or fan. But there was no fixing it, now. Mu. Lord and I finally reached a tiny park near the BX. There was a set of swings, a few slides, a tire swing [yay], and a water fountain [ultra yay]. :'3 I attempted to swing on the tire, but it didn't work. The black tire had absorbed WAY too much heat from the sun. And, lemmie tell you, it burned my tush`. o.o;; Oww. So, I moved to the swings. Both Lord and I did, anyway, in sad attempts to cool off. There seemed to be no breeze out, so we had to make our own. It worked for a little while. We got a nice mild breeze built up, but the swings started squeaking and making other weird noises. We decided we should get off. Before we left I wanted to get some water from the small fountain. AND GUESS WHAT. THERE WAS NO WATER. D< Not in either part of the fountain. It was either drained, or someone cut the water off from that area. I almost went mad. ;~; Lord moved on, though, and I followed. [And dun' worry. My sanity remained. Somehow...] There seemed to be NO trees WHAT-SO-EVER on that side of the street. Patches of grass, yes. Trees, no. No trees = no shade. No shade = x_x [I think you get the picture.] Walking up there seemed like forever and the walk itself felt a mile, or two, long. But it probably wasn't. Soon we reached the BX. At last. Our destination! The second we entered through the door, a rush of cool air blew right at us. Then it hit me: Air conditioning. Just what we needed! <3 Literally. Both of us had to walk down through the food court to get to the actually "mall" part of the store. Down the little ramp and past the stuffed animals. Past the cell phone bank, and then... Homg. Back to the stuffed animals. I instantly spotted a little, handmade, pink, utterly adorable bunny. Sure, it had uneven ears, but who's counting? ninja Needless to say, I fell in love with it. But we didn't walk up there to buy the bunny. We walked up there to buy sugar. Hawhaw. Somehow the sugar seemed more important. >> << Jee. As soon as we left I had a feeling in my gut that the next time we came to the BX with our mom, the bunny wouldn't be there. But I pushed the thought out of my head and we continued shopping. I picked out my snacks, and Lord picked out hers. I "accidentally" grabbed two bags of gummies, and, somehow, Lord noticed. After a little fit over if I should get two or not, she finally said I could. And so I did. I'd save one for another day, of course, though. On our way back to the exit of the BX, we ran into the same little mini store with the bunneh on the shelf. I picked it up once or twice and was forced to put it back. [Lord wanted to go home. Meh.] Then something funny happened. When we reached the parking lot outside the "mall", Lord mentioned that we didn't buy our mom anything. So. We re-entered to buy her a small snack, too. And, oddly, I stopped infront of the bunny. Again. X3 LOL. I had to pass over it, though, and Lord eventually managed to pick out the snack our mom wanted.
We both finally thought we could go home. But, magically, I halted right next to the pink bunny once we reached the store, again. The Japanese man who was running the store seemed to notice that I kept coming back to the same thing, and he went over to us. He casually mentioned that it cost $1. A great bargain, I know. It was on discount since that was the last day he would be setting the shop up. Lord looked at me, then the bunny, then me, then the bunny, then me. [Least that's what it looked like she was doing. X3] I decided to buy it. It was like we were meant to be. LOL. I remember squealing over teh bunny on the way home. [Which, by the same, seemed just as long as the walk up there.] It was horribly hot, still, and I felt like melting. As we walked, Lord kept asking what I was planning on naming it. And at first I couldn't think of anything. But eventually a name came to me. It was pure genious. It was luff luff. It was MIA. :333 I didn't think it suited her, though, after a few second thoughts. But no matter how many other names I came up with, none of them seemed to fit her, either. I kept going back to "Mia". And so, that became her name. We got home shortly after wards and nearly died. XD Too much heat! I cooled off quickly and I borrowed the downstairs camera to take pictures of Mia. While I was at it, I snapped a few shots of Lord and I. So, yes, I have pictures of us all. BUT YOU'RE PROBABLY WONDERING WHAT MIA LOOKS LIKE. :'D Well, here you go~
