Pt 12

The world that never was

Daxchi walked down into the computer room. He inserted the USB drive into the main computer’s tower. He turns around to find Yaxtuya there.

Daxchi: ah, you brought the persocon correct?
Yaxtuya: yes unfortunately! *turns around to drag the unconscious Chii* Grr! Damn! For a small girl, she weighs a ton!
Daxchi: yes, she has to be turned on. If she is, her weight changes.
Yaxtuya: grr! Damn! She’s so heavy!!!! I had to teleport her here instead of dragging her to the black portal!! Ahh! Oww my back! gonk
Daxchi: oh stop complaining! She isn’t that heavy! *tries to pick up Chii*

As soon as he tries to pick up Chii, his back gave out.

Daxchi: ahh! She weighs like a ton of bricks! Ah! My back!!! gonk
Yaxtuya: *sighs* I told you, it’s like moving a heavy boulder!
Daxchi: or a big truck with heavy steel girders! Ahh! My ba-ha-ha-ack!!
Yaxtuya: *sigh* I didn’t even want to do this! But since you’re the leader.

Yaxtuya grabs Daxchi and put him in a lock. She folded her knee and placed it on his back. She soon leaned on it, causing pain in Daxchi’s back.

Daxchi: AAAAHHH!!!!
Yaxtuya: Stop screaming! You’ll make a scene! mad

Just then his back cracked back to it’s right position. Yaxtuya let go and helped Daxchi get up. Daxchi rubbed his sore back, it was better but that knee thing hurt.

Daxchi: ahh! Where did you learn that technique?
Yaxtuya: apparently, my past self worked part time as a chiropractor.
Daxchi: you don’t say…oww! Ok, no all we have to do is to turn her own.
Yaxtuya: how do you turn her on?
Daxchi: well…uhh…you- uhh. You…*whispers in her ear*
Yaxtuya: eek na-uh! No way! I’m not gonna do that!
Daxchi: you have to! That’s an order! mad
Yaxtuya: no way! xp
Daxchi: why not.
Yaxtuya: because the writer wanted this story to be good for kids and teens, so she doesn’t want anything bad like sexual harassment written in this story!
Daxchi: then what do you suppose we do then?! We have to turn her on!
Yaxtuya: well…she will allow it but it can’t be me.
Daxchi: what?! Damn! *he walks over and turns Chii on*

As soon as he turn her on she awoke. She looked up to see Daxchi and Yaxtuya.

Chii: where am I? where is Ka-xaks?
Daxchi: she’s not here right now.
Chii: oh. When will she be back?
Daxchi: uh- she won’t be coming back for a while.
Chii: why?
Daxchi: uh- lets forget about her ok. Umm- persocon-girl. We need you to do something for us.
Chii: will it hurt Chii?
Daxchi: no, no it won’t. Come on. *he leads her to the main computer*

Daxchi reaches for her cord in her right ear. He connects it to the main computer. Then he took out some wires from the tower and connects them back to her.

Daxchi: I need you to read the files and give me a brief summary.
Chii: ok.

Chii soon looked at the main computer. She opened the file and searched. Her eyes became dim while streams of light ran across. She looked at Daxchi.

Chii: I have read the files.
Daxchi: good! Now can you make me a summary?
Chii: I don’t know.
Daxchi: how can you not know! You’re a persocon!!
Yaxtuya: hmm, I guess we have to hook her up to the printer.
Daxchi: but we don’t have one.
Chii: Chii can write the summary down.
Daxchi: ok! Get her some paper and a pen!
Yaxtuya: ok! I’ll be back. *teleports*
Daxchi: hmm. Chii, I’m very close to this project, so I just want to add something.

Daxchi takes out a dial which was connected to a wire. It was a shock wire. Since he was so close, he came prepared. It was a new shocker to control persocon. If they do something wrong, the wire shocks them to the amount you want. He attaches it to her ear. As soon as its connected, it latched on tightly. Chii winced from the pain.

Chii: that…hurt.
Daxchi: oh, sorry if it did, it does that so you can’t pull it out.

Just then Yaxtuya comes in with paper and pen.

Yaxtuya: ok, I got the papers and a pen. *hands it to Chii*
Daxchi: ok, Chii, I want you to give me a summary of what you read, but give me the details too.
Chii: chii!

Chii started to write. It seems like she wrote for a long time but she soon stopped after 5 pages. Daxchi grabs the papers hastily and read them. His expression soon changed after a couple of seconds. He soon became angry.

Daxchi: ah! This is what I know already! Stupid persocon! That’s not the file I wanted! scream *he takes the dial and shocks her with a lvl 4 shock*
Chii: aah!
Daxchi: look harder!

And so Chii did. She searched though out the program. She kept giving Daxchi a bit of information of each file but he always yells and tells her to keep looking. Finally she found a file that perked Daxchi’s interest.

Daxchi: aha! That’s the file! I need it!
Chii: but if I search there, the information might cause me some damage.
Daxchi: I don’t care! Just look!

Chii soon turn her attention back to the screen. She opened the file. After a few minutes she looked back.

Chii: This is as far as I can go without any damage. Can I turn back now.
Daxchi: no! I need this information! I won’t let anything stop me! Now look! *he shocks her with a level 8 shock*

Chii: AHH!
Yaxtuya: Even though I can’t feel, that’s harsh!
Daxchi: I don’t care, she’s a persocon. Nothing more than a computer part!
Yaxtuya: I’m warning you, this won’t be good if you keep forcing her like that.
Daxchi: it will not be good for you if you keep interrupting!

Chii searched some more. After a few minutes she stopped. She didn’t look back, she just sat there.

Daxchi: what are you doing you persocon! Get the information! *he shocks her again only with the highest level. Level 10*
Chii: AAAHHH!!!!
Daxchi: why won’t you obey orders! *shocks her again*
Yaxtuya: Stop it! You’ll over load the systems!!!
Daxchi: I won’t until she gives me that information!

Daxchi was about to shock her again, but suddenly a group of wires angrily wrapped around his hand! They griped it so tightly that if it was any tighter they would’ve break his hand off!

Daxchi: ahh! What the-

Chii turned around. She was standing in front of them. Her expression changed. Her warm smile and loving eyes soon fade. Instead her face became cold, and unloving. Her hair whipped around wildly! The computer screen breaks! Millions of wires whipped around! They grabbed Daxchi and Yaxtuya! The wires suspend them in the air. They were so tight, that it was hard to breath!

Daxchi: wha- what’s the meaning of this?!
Chii just looked at him with hate. mad
Yaxtuya: now you’ve done it! Ah! You overloaded the system! But I know what’s the problem!
Daxchi: what?!
Yaxtuya: Chii warned you! I think Diz didn’t want anyone looking in his research files! So I think this is his defense system. They’re taking over the persocon!
Daxchi: damn!!! No!!! So close!

Chii lifted her arm, the wires followed her commands. Both Daxchi and Yaxtuya were secured by the wires, making it impossible to move.

Daxchi: Damn!! I need that information!
Yaxtuya: hold on! *blows*

Yaxtuya has the power of wind, so her breath became a strong wind. The wind made the papers whirled around. The papers flew to Chii’s face. Blinding her for just a moment. The wires loosened for a bit, but it was enough for Daxchi to get out. He runs out into the main computer. He takes out the USB drive and ran. He evaded the flying wires. But he wasn’t quick enough! The wires got him and lifted him up. Chii walked up to Daxchi. She stared at him coldly. She soon spoke.

Chii: this file you’ve reached is prohibited! No one is allowed to enter!

Daxchi: Damn! That Diz! Damn him and his defense system! I will not give up what I’ve accomplished this far!

Daxchi squirmed out of his wire cocoon. He ran over to the dial and pressed the button. Chii was shocked.(literally) Her eyes flashed white for a few seconds. The wires that moved around stopped. They let go of Yaxtuya and Daxchi. Everything soon died down. Chii stood there, in shock. Her eyes turn a dark shade of brown and her face was emotionless. She dropped to her knees and fell unconscious.

Daxchi: Damn!! That stupid persocon! mad
Yaxtuya: wait! Look! *she pointed to another computer.*
The computer was on. Not only that but the file Chii found appeared there. Daxchi smiled.

Daxchi: yes!!! It there! That’s the file I needed!
Yaxtuya: what about the persocon, what do we do with her?
Daxchi: put her back to the chamber. She still has some purpose.
Yaxtuya: ok. *she disconnects chii from the wires.*
Daxchi: ok then. I need to be alone!
Yaxtuya: yes sir! Can I sleep afterwards? gonk
Daxchi: argh-fine. You deserve It anyway.
Yaxtuya: wow, this must be really important for you to go to great lengths for it.
Daxchi: you have no idea.

Twilight Town

Shiroi yawned after his long sleep. He looked around. He felt something leathery over his back. When he checked to see what it was, he was surprised. It was Kaxaks’ cloak. He looked down to see Yoru was standing there. He smiled and patted it’s head. He got up and yawned. He stretched out for a while, then he looked around. No Kaxaks in sight. Just then Yoru grabbed his pant leg. Yoru led him to balcony. Shiroi looked up a the roof. There was Kaxaks, sleeping on the rooftop. Shiroi jumped on the railing and grabbed the edge of the roof. He swung himself over and landed square flat on the roof top. He walks up to her and places her cloak on top of her. He sat next to her and looked out into the sky,

Shiroi thinking: Sakka. I promise that I’d protect you. I’m sorry what happened. I swear I’ll bring you back. Sakka, you don’t know how much you mean to me.

Kaxaks twist and turned in her sleep. She had another dream. She was at the organization Headquarters. She sat on top of the roof top. She looked out at the heart-shaped moon. She smiled and sighed. Just then someone came up to her. It was the same girl Kaxaks saw earlier! She had long brown hair, blood-red eyes and her trade-mark smirk.

Kaxaks: Ximik! biggrin
Ximik: Kaxaks!
Kaxaks: what are you doing here?
Ximik: hmm, I can ask you the same question!
Kaxaks: hmm. I always come here to avoid the boring meetings. And it relaxes me!
Ximik: yah, Xemnas is getting angry that you’re missing out on all of the meetings!
Kaxaks: ahh, I hate hearing long speeches! Besides, I have you to tell me everything! blaugh
Ximik: yah right!
Kaxaks: yah. That’s what I pay you for!
Ximik: you don’t pay me!
Kaxaks: yah, remember those boxes of pocky?
Ximik: oh yah! biggrin
Kaxaks: yah. So, how your practice with Saix?
Ximik: Sempai? Oh, great! I beat him for the fifth time! blaugh
Kaxaks: Are you sure he didn’t just hold back? stare
Ximik: humph! If your not sure then fight me! twisted
Kaxaks: nah, not today. I was just thinking….
Ximik: what?
Kaxaks: We’re losing more and more members because of this key wielder. So, there isn’t anyone that might stop him.
Ximik: don’t say that! I’m sure that my Sempai will take care of him!
Kaxaks: yah, *sigh* Ximik, are you wiling to throw your life for the organization?
Ximik: of course! I promise that I’d die under the organization’s command! I’d never betray them!
Kaxaks: well at least we have some trustworthy people, unlike Marluxia and Laurexene.
Ximik: well at least I know I won’t betray the organization!
Kaxaks: hmm! Yah! But…
Ximik: don’t tell me you-
Kaxaks: no! of course not! It’s just that…I feel that we’ll never see each other again.
Ximik: what?! What makes you say that?
Kaxaks: I don’t know. I feel like something’s happening, something big that will change my life and the way I think about it.
Ximik: yah, you’ve been eating too many pocky boxes.
Kaxaks: no I haven’t! I don’t eat that much pocky!
Ximik: oh yah, last time you tackled poor Laurexene just because she had your pocky stick!!!
Kaxaks: I told her it was mine!
Ximik: yah, too bad she didn’t listen. Hahaha! blaugh
Kaxaks: hahaha! Ximik, please don’t change! biggrin
Ximik: question
Kaxaks: you’re a really great friend.
Ximik: yah, you too.
Kaxaks: woah! De-javu. surprised
Ximik: did you experience this before?
Kaxaks: I’m not sure….but I have a feeling that I’ve done this before.
Ximik: weird.

Dream ends.

Kaxaks was still sleeping. Shiroi got up and climbed down. Yoru stayed behind. This was odd, usually Yoru followed Shiroi everywhere. But this time Yoru stayed behind. Shiroi shrugged it off and went back to his research.

Yoru crawled near Kaxaks. She was still sleeping like a log. Yoru tilted it’s head. It crawled near Kaxaks and laid next to her.

Kaxaks’ dream

Kaxaks was in a barren wasteland. It resembled what used to be Rethinia. She looked around.

Kaxaks: wh-where am I?
Mysterious voice: you’re in my world.
Kaxaks: what?!

Kaxaks turns around. She saw a girl with a light blue dress. She had light brown hair and hazel brown eyes.

Kaxaks: Who are you? What are you doing here?
Mysterious girl: I don’t want to tell you yet.
Kaxaks: why not?
Mysterious girl: because…I just want to talk.
Kaxaks: Great! More people I don’t know!
Mysterious girl: *giggle* lol
Kaxaks: what’s so funny?!
Mysterious girl: Nothing, just you’re sort of dense! 3nodding
Kaxaks: say what?! scream
Mysterious girl: and you over-react! biggrin
Kaxaks: alright! I’m not wasting my time hearing you smack talk me! scream
Mysterious girl: sorry. I’m just comparing.
Kaxaks: who are you comparing me to?
Mysterious girl: me!
Kaxaks: what?
Mysterious girl: look, I’m not here for fun and games. Please, tell Shiroi not to look for me!
Kaxaks: huh?
Mysterious girl: even though we’re apart, we’re still connected. I know I’m the last key. So tell him to stop looking for me.
Kaxaks: wait, so your-
Mysterious girl: yes. Tell him…I don’t want him lost in the darkness like me. I can take care of myself.
Kaxaks: but-
Mysterious girl: no buts! I knew that guy wouldn’t last long without me by his side! biggrin
Kaxaks: So you are always by his side.
Mysterious girl: In darkness or light. I don’t give in that easily.
Kaxaks: wait, how do you even know Shiroi?
Mysterious girl: I don’t. All I know is that he’s searching for me, and I’m always by his side. I don’t have any clue who he is. To me he’s a stranger searching for me. But in my heart, I feel that I want him to be safe.
Kaxaks: oh yah, I know Shiroi because of the memories, but if I know Shiroi that means that you-

The girl disappeared.

Kaxaks: -don’t. *sigh* So, I now know how she looks like.

Dream end

Kaxaks wakes up. She Yawned and stretched out. She felt her cloak on top of her, so she took it off and wore it. She yawned again and held out her hand. She teleported back inside the building. She looked around the room, Shiroi was searching in his bag. He took out an instant cup of ramen. Kaxaks suddenly remembered Naruto. His big fox grin stayed in her mind for a while. She sighed and wondered if he’s ok.

Shiroi: Hey Kaxaks! It’s almost lunch time!!! Time to eat! *hands her and instant cup*
Kaxaks: no thanks, I don’t feel hungry right now.
Shiroi: ok then. *pours hot water in the cup*
Kaxaks: man I had the weirdest dream!
Shiroi: really? Oh, where’s Yoru?
Kaxaks: I don’t know, I thought Yoru was with you?
Shiroi: No…...*drops cup*

Both Kaxaks and Shiroi got up. They ran around the building, franticly searching for Yoru. Just then, a swarm of ravens flew though the front doors. Shiroi and Kaxaks rushed down. The ravens swirled around and flew out the doors. It’s as if they wanted them both to follow them. So they did. As they ran out, the birds flew to different trees. There was a man there. He had a black and white coat. He looked At Kaxaks with an evil smile. Kaxaks was shocked. This man looked a lot like Tsubasa! But somehow, it doesn’t feel like him.

Kaxaks: who are you?!
Man: oh, where are my manners…You might of heard of me. I’m Tsubame! *he said in a creepy tone*
