-No, the story is not on me, just because my username is angle. I just like the name.
Chapter 1. In the land of England during the years of 1944, before London, Paris, and all those now-famous cities were born, and where all the witches, wizards, sorcerers, goblins, ogres, and all those other mystical beings were not a myth at all, lies the quaint town of Evangelion, a peaceful, yet magical town. And just like every town, they had magic being taught in a form of a school-house. Young men and women comehere everyday, just like normal 21st century school, except no boring subjects. They only stick with one subject, magic. No, they weren't dressed up in black, witch-looking robes, they were dressed up pretty modern-looking I would say. They all had white polo shirts, with matching trousers: Skirts for girls, slacks for boys. But, I will not waste my time describing every inch of the school yard now, will I? Let's go on to the main part of the story.

And in this school, simply named 'St. Evangelion' held the most talented wizardry students in the land. Most of them could save the whole country from destructive mishap, but one student, one CLUELESS student, will be doing that later in this story. She was Angle Claid. Perculiar name for a girl, seeming that just switching the L and E make 'angel'. People get mistaken with that often. In the school, she was popular alright. Popular for being clueless, ditzy, dim-headed, as well as gullible. Her magic seemed to be one of a 5 year olf, and the teachers think she's a disgrace. Her parents scold her every time they get a letter from the teacher hearing that she a put another student of fire again, which is very common. Though how many attempts of hopeless strain to work magic, all she does in the end is smile and laugh, as her face is covered from soot by a simple spell. The whole class laughs along also. She also seems to brighten anyone's day, even a troubled drunkie. She would make weird jokes, and amusingly funny remarks about herself. If they don't laugh at that, she would just smile and say, "Give it another try, no one's perfect, but in the same time, no one's a failure!"

It seems pretty bright so far huh? Well, unfortunately, wherever exists magic, exists a curse. When Angle was born, she was injected by a snake's venom when her parents weren't looking. It did no harm whatsoever, only left a strange mark near Angle's ribcage. A mark that looked oddly like a black butterfly. Angle, who was pretty aware of the curse, ignored it the first time she saw it, and ignored it then on. Her parents noticed too. Her father thinks Angle is a big burden upon them, and her mother thinks the same, they just don't tell her. Life was spiraling down for Angle, without her knowing, but just 24 hours would change her life for good.

It was a regular school day. Same routine: walk to school, don't listen to teacher, teacher scowls, students laugh, letter to parents, walk home. This time, scratch out the 'walk home' part. As Angle gathered her blue, short-sleeved jacket from the coat-hanger, she noticed a rat crawling near her shoes. It was strange because the school-house was always clean. "Hey Mrs. Peng, um, did you clean today?" She asked, watching the rat scurry to a crack in the door, glaring back at Angle with red, sinister, eyes. Angle shuddered. "Of course I clean! I clean everyday, and I shall clean until this school-house crumbles!" She scowled. "..But, I saw a rat crawl outside." "How? The door is completely shut!" "By a crack in the door." "Nonsense! There is no crack!" And Mrs. Peng was right. There was no crack at the at all. She observed the door carefully, especially where the rat crawled out. Nothing. She swore she saw a crack in the bottom of the door, and now, nothing. "Now Angle, stop studying my door, and go home." Mrs. Peng said, standing up. Angle hurried outside, her heart beating. Then as soon as she started walking, a huge gust of wind pulled her. She pulled her skirt down, and grabbed her long, brown, hair and tied it in a bun. It was odd for that gust, for it has been sunny and dry for days. She continued on. Suddenly, another gust, much stronger than the last. Then, it rained. "Whaaaat is wrong with the weather today?" She said, putting up her hood. She held onto a tree and ran up to a lampost. The wind was incredibly strong, pushing Angle two steps backwards whenever she struggled to make one. Finally, the wind pushed her like somewhat of a gladiator, and she flew backwards to a tree she hung onto. She knew the impact was going to be strong, so she braced herself and closed her eyes. As soon as the tree touched her, instead of hearing her backbone creak, she fell. Not on grass, but on wooden planks. She sat up, looking as clueless as ever, glaring at what is a house. 'Great, the tree led me to a house.' she thought, sarcastically. She doesn't remember doing an escape spell at all before the impact. She scratched her head, and tilted it to the left. "Whoa, hey, how in the world did you get here?!" A voice came from above. Angle looked up to find a young man, about 16 years old, a year younger than her, hovering above her, cross-armed. He had black, neck-long hair, and was wearing regular clothes. "Haha, 'how in the world'? By a tree." Angle answered with a smile. The boy raised an eyebrow, and Angle smiled away.
