Well, saw my first animal killing today. And I can't help but feel guilty.
Me and Mum were walking to school this morning, and some ducks were a little ways ahead of us. Cautiously of us, they started to waddle away. Finally, they took off...... straight into the windscreen of a car. One managed to flap away unharmed, but the other......
It was still alive when it was hit, and you could see it flapping around under the car. It's wing hit the road, pushed it off balance, and it's head fell under the wheel.
Mum was horrified. I was taken aback, but I've seen cows being chain-sawed in half before..... right down the middle of their skulls.
But still, it seemed quite horrific.

AND it put me off my break-time snack a little.
