Kat jumped into the front seat of Josh's car and tossed her bag in the back. She loved their morning ride to school. It took them nearly twenty minutes when he drove fast and fourty when he drove the speed limit.
"Morning babe!" Josh smiled and put the car in drive. "What plans do you have today after classes?"
" Well, I have to clean out the downstairs closet today. I guess I could hold off on that till later tonight." Kat's eyes glittered. "What did you have in mind?"
" I thought we could go get something to eat for dinner and then go shop for a few things, like say your homecoming dress." JOsh slowly gained speed as they got farther from her house.
" I think that's a great idea! I'll meet you at the car at the last bell." Kat sat back in her seat and watched the trees and houses fly by.
It would have been a great day and an even greater night if fate hadn't decided to start. Once she got to school and Josh walked her to homeroom everything started to change.......
