Moon & Stars
I wish for the moon and stars to sing me to sleep,
for the darkness to cover my soul.
I never want the sun to see me
for I do not wish for the sun’s fiery rays
to pierce my heart like cupid’s arrow.
I opened the gates to the icy world
you see in my eyes,
I let you enter.
You melted the ice with your love,
mended my shattered fragments with your kindness.
