Liru knew death. She aslo knew how to avoid it. She knew that death would come sooner or later, but for now, she was alive and liveing life. Though she wonder why she should bother. Why didn't she want to die?
Like many other questions, she didn't have an answer. Not yet anyway.

Liru Hinku walked down the quiet road. The wind was blowing lightly threw her grey hair. Deep in thought she kept walking, remebering something about monsters being on the other side of the woods she would soon enter after the next town.
She looked up to see smoke riseing. It was a bon fire comeng from the town ahead. She study it for awhile then sighed.
"Well at least it isn't for me this time..."

People were danceing around the fire like manics, singing a song that sound deivls sould sing it.
"BURN THE EVIL TO THE GROUND! WACTH IT GO ROUND AND ROUND! WITCHES BEWEARE OF THE CROWN! BURN THEM EVILS TO THE GROUND!"
Over and over they sung. Liru saw best to avoid this group of people and sneak out thew the other side. LIttle did she know that someone was wacthing her. And following her.

Liru made it out alive. She almost got chought by a drunk man but she made it out okay just by hitting him over the head. She went into the forset and kept going until she chouldn't hear the evil chants anymore.
She sat down with a sigh, "Well another day filled with mindless stupidy. And another night going unfeed...." She looked at her tummy as it growled to her and moaned, "Man...shutup."
"Looks like someone could use some food.," said a voice behind her.
Liru jumped up but it was too late. Two strong arms garbbed her from behind and pulled her close. Turning her so she could she the face of her caputer.
The boy smiled to her, "Hey there."

Liru stuggerled to get free of him, "Let me go you jerk!"
The boy just smiled at her, "Why should I let a pretty thing like you go?"
Rolling her eyes she kicked in the goin and pushed him off, "That's why."
The boy fell over in pain but quickly recovred, "Ouch. That wasn't nice."
"Well sneaking up behind me wasn't nice either!"
He smiled as he stood up,"True. Forgive me miss...?"
"It's Liru Hinku."
"Liru Hinku eh? Not the name of a Jonn I see. Very nice. My name is DiTan. Or Tan Diku if you want to put like the Jonns." He smiled to her alittle, "Strange that you're named after the village that -"
Liru began to walk away, "Yeah thats sweet. Goodbye."
DiTan ran for her, "Hey wait up! I thought you was hungery."
Liru kept walking and ingored him. She stopped only when her stomuch growled again.
Sighing she looked to him, "I'm not going back there if thats what you mean."
DiTan smiled modestly, "No no. Ofcrouse not. I have a camp set up just ahead. You can stay the night if you want. It's dangouse to be out there alone."
Liru sighed, "Fine." She followed him to the camp site.

After she ate, Liru laid down on a spare blanket DiTan gave her. She was thinking when he sat down and looked to her.
"Hey, how old are you anyway?"
"17"
"Oh well I'm 18 just so you know. I-"
"I'm not instered DiTan so don't bother." She rolled on her side, her back faceing him.
DiTan looked at her a moment more then smiled a little as he laid down as well, "You will be soon enough."
Liru pretneded to be asleep. Only when hell comes and gets me....
She stayed awake for the rest of that night, singing to herself.

NEXT TIME ON LIRU:
DiTan decides to follow Liru even though at frist she hates the idea of haveing someone, speically a pervert like him, comenig with her. But soon she relizes that even though he's a little b***h at sometimes, he can sure in hell fight. Matter fact, she can fight too. She dosen't need some guy protecting her!
