This will be my journal entry for tonight. I typed it up about 20 minutes ago and thought it was pretty, so I decided to put it up in my journal. I have a perfect picture to go along with it, but I cannot seem to figure out where I got it from, so I cannot show you guys, sadly. crying Anyway, here is the poem:
If I told you that I love you
Would you tell me that you love me?
If I cried
Would you give me your sympathy?
I know that love conquers all
And that I cannot stop this feeling
But would you please give me a sign
So I do not feel as if I am swimming?
If I died
What would you do?
Would you cry and go on in life?
Or would you never heal
Always wrapped up in so much strife
I want to let these feelings pass me by
I wish so bad for the pain to pass
Why will the pain not go away
Please, God, lead me on the right path
Give me strength to win over many
Love to make my day
And when I feel lonely
Give me a place to lay
Tell me all the things I want to hear
Then watch as I heal
But never tell me lies
So that I circle as if I was a wheel
Poems never tell the truth
But what a poet needs
God, why can I not see it
This feeling of no righteous deeds
Death
One word that equals many
So sorrowful yet joyful
To the Angels who are many
I love you
Three words
No sentence
Just a sense of something that is heard
Now let me tell you a secret
Listen carefully
It may shock you
But please do not whisper unwittingly
I am in love with death
And it calls me like a mother to her child
Or a lover to their mate
Or a tiger to the wild
Give me everything
The world, the sky
Make me know one word only
And make the wings fly by
Now, I lie down to rest
Never to awaken
I will sleep for eternity
Please do not be frightened
Good bye
