the darkness has pulled you in
its tendrils embracing you
its presence erasing you
and you foolishly hope
hope that someone will lead you out of this darkness
hope and hope till no avail
No one cares(that you're alive)

Embraces all as the night falls.
A time of rest, a chance to dream
Of cherubs and sephardims.
Over your head shines the moon and stars
In your heart, time to heal your wounds and scars
So as you stumble in the dark
Know that someone is there
Someone who loves you and cares
Then may, in your heart, this thought ignite
That without darkness, will there be light?
