Ever wonder what’s it like.
To stare at yourself from the other side.
To be oblivion of the axe.
The one that swing across your path.
The walking torment of the unknown.
The shadow that has a mind of its own.
The fact that you may one day be replaced.
And only be remembered or your death or birthday.
But I know what it’s like.
To look at you from the other side.
To wield the axe above your head.
When you walk down the streets or sleep in your bed.
The shadow that follows in the day.
The fact that I may take you away.
And when you cry and ask me why.
I smile and say, “I guess today just wasn’t your day”.

- Title: Peeping Death
- Artist: jamaicangurl92
- Description: In Peeping Death I am death who is talking to all of us who live everyday with an axe over our heads, never knowing when our time will come. Even though this may seem a little unsettling to some people, I thought it would be interesting to write from my own version of Death, fear of the unknown :).
