Mrs. Bailey, my teacher, asked me to write for this contest. I had to send in two pieces of my writing, so I sent in a story I had written previously that year, then I had to do an impromptu about if I could go back and talk to someone for one day, who would it be?
I chose my grandpa who had passed away earlier that year.
So we sent it in, and now, just today I'm getting the results back.

It was a nationalwide contest.
Out of 5 winners from Iowa, I was one of them.
