I thought that since I was sitting here alone with the TV in the background and a song in my ears, I would type up someting that was on my mind.

I hear the term 'immature' all around me. Whether it is directed at myself or others. I wonder why people think others are immature.

In someways I cannot understand it. For you may think one thing is immature and the other might think it is a chance for fun. Your views are different than others. Why not open up and gracefully accept the other's opinion? With calling others 'immature' you look immature and unaccepting yourself.

I don't really know. It seems when you get older you have to 'mature' and therefore you lose everything that was once dear to you. Suddenly romping around through the long grass doesn't look so wonderous. Then you sit on the computer all day looking up people on myspace.

Have we all truly lost the magic of youth? They say these are the best days of our lives, when really they can be a living nightmare. You wander uncertain, getting flogged at anything you try. You back away, fleeing into your shell. Looking out of the dirty window, picking at the dead flies that have gathered there.

Your eyes are empty and you try to solve why you're such a failure. You wonder why you're so anti-social. Why you can't be pretty, perfect, and a robot like everyone else. You lose your true escense and you turn into nothing but one of your dead flies in the world of today. Just another small bleep on the radar screen.

Nothing.

Ever.

I don't want to fade away into some mindless drone stuck in a cubicle for the rest of my life. I write because I dream. I dream because I look for better things. I look for better things because I am human.

And being human makes you vunerable to so many things.

Get up.

Face it.

Seize your life and have a little fun.
