I was walking down the hallway when my friends asked me where I was going, "Ensemble, duh."

"There isn't any ensemble today, just the tryouts for the solo."

I kind of glanced around sheepishly and shrugged, "Well, I don't want to go to homeroom."

I was halfway down the hallway. I didn't want to go back. So I shrugged, "I guess I'm trying out then."

It was a ' wink ' situation.

I didn't really know if I was going to try out or not, but since I was almost there I decided what the heck. biggrin
