First post! Wee! For all of you who read this and dont know who I'm talking about, ... oh well. Lol. This is a post I took from my other journal on Live Journal about last night:
Well, it all in all was cool. It's midnight now, so I thought I'd update before I forgot it all. First, the ride over was ok. I played cards and talked to Jen on the phone most of the time. 1st quarter was kinda dull. We all just sat around, being sticky and hot. 2nd quarter came and passed too. Halftime kinda sucked. The field was wet, so we couldnt put our new routine up. And, it was hard to hunker, being that no one wanted to get their pants dirty. During our show, I forgot to put my horn down at the end of the opener. Stupid me. And then, in Zarabanda, when we stop, Leanna was a whole yard line off from where she's supposed to be. I was right on, cuz I end on the 40. Anyway, third quarter was great. I hacked with Jettie and Alex (guy) and then some of the Huntsville kids joined us, two guys. They werent bad. Lol. It was fun, really. Even one of the Huntsville band members joined us. After third was up, we sat around during fourth. But, we did sing happy birthday to Jettie like five times during that one quarter. Lol. We played a few songs too. Finally, at the end of the game, Watt got everyone in the band to sing to Jettie, cuz at first it was only just a few ppl. I also found out, afterwards while waiting for Watt to let trumpets go, that Marrick can do this funky thing... he sucks in his gut and it makes him look eerily thin. He can also pull a bunch of skin off his body, like stretch it, not actually take it off. It's wanky. Lol. Love that word. After all that was said and done, I put my stuff on the truck and got onto the bus. I did call Jen and talked to her for a min, but it was too loud. I said I'd call back, but I ended up sleeping. So did she, so it was good that I didnt call. Got to the band hall finally and I grabbed my things. Packed up and headed home. Now, its 12:07 and I'm tired. So I'mna go to bed. Night all.
