so I was going through my old journals... and I decided you guys get my poetry again. XD Enjoy
blistering darkness
a single thread of light on the wall
a single thread in nothing at all
darkened shadows lace the room
a silence roars with a dull boom
a tattered soul, a broken heart
a shattered life, ne'er to part
icy hands, calling for fate
the warming light almost late
it reaches for she quaking with fear
shaken with darkness, a single tear
numb feelings becoming strong
wanting to sink deep in the dark throng
the light refuses to not let go
longing the love he has to show
she looks up wistfully and sighs
this one yearns no longer to live, but to die
the light won't fail, and tries with his might
pulling her forcefully to the ray of light
she looks around and back at him
the look on her face terribly grim
she drops her head as down tears stream
the light holds her close, calming the shaking teen
a few moments pass and she looks in his eyes
and falters a moment to see what's inside.
a love so pure that it warms her soul and heart
a love so strong it begs to ne'er part.
she smiles softly and cuddles close
to hear his heart, the one she loves the most
a single thread of light on the wall
a single thread of light that is greater than all.....
broken
i hear the words whispered on the wind
the delicate fall of a tender rain
the shadows dance across the window
haunting my memories once again
the howling cries echo the night
from deep within the pounding grows
a piercing call screams from above
the fears and deep bound terror shows
the mask too thick, hiding its claim
a tattered soul, a broken dream
the cuts and daggers driven deep
a smiling face ne'er to be seen
down to the life frozen in fear of one
a broken soul, herself to shun
solaceless
a painful step leads to the quickened fall
into deepened depths where no voices call
pain wracks at the tattered heart
alone in the world, a new place to start
longing for release of the pains she bears
simply wanting to know that someone cares
looking for a comfort long time sought
but this kind of solace never is brought
voice
it calls to me in the dark of the night
a tainted sound in the silence of life
i wonder what becomes of a life so bleak
a life so weary, a life so weak
the voice will stengthen, all provided
commit yourself, your attention undivided
brings me back into the light, the light of love
the only light that I ever want to be of....
tis the season
tis the season
for ghosties
ghoulies
and goblins
the 3 g's that
bring halloween
its eerie feel
humans disguise
themselves as
creatures of dark
masquerading
through the streets
collecting treats
that will rot
their mouths
making others
namely dentists
happy
so tell me here
who enjoys
halloween
the most
