For two years.....two long and dragging years.....
It was a cold morning and I was aching all over. I didn't feel like going to school. I turned on my handheld radio. "Snow in lexington and saluda....." it said. Well that was on both sides of me. I got up to tell my mom about what I heard. When I padded down the hall my mom looked up from her seat on the couch. "Katie! Guess what? It's snowing!!!" When I heard this I grabbed my coat,hat, and gloves. I enjoyed the snow with my neice and neighbor. I thought they would cancel school for sure! . . . . I was wrong. crying We had a two hour delay which I was grateful for. My friends and I got into a slush war in the morning soaking my gloves for the day. That caused a domino effect of bad events. Next time it snows I will hold a picket sign and say"Oh no we won't go!!!" ^.^;;;
