Event Button - free presents
Well, I've only been on Gaia for a few months so I wasn't around when the random events were occuring for people; but even though it doesn't alert you, they STILL are. D: You just don't know when its happening...
So every once in a while try pressing this link
http://www.gaiaonline.com/index.php?event= and a present will appear in your inventory under the "special" section.
This SERIOUSLY works! I did it yesterday and got a brown magical giftbox. X3 Don't be discouraged if it doesn't work the first time you press it though... you just have to keep doing it each day or so depending on when the event happens.
For those that don't know about this, you'll either get a brown, blue, or pink magic giftbox or an enchanted trunk. To see what items are in these boxes, go to tektek.org and it will give a list of the possible things. If you get a brown giftbox or magic trunk, I recommend you SELL them instead of opening them. Why? D: Because you can sell a brown giftbox for about 5,000 gold; and if you open it, chances are your surprise will be worth less than that, un.
