Well, Adamant at fighter lvl 6, Abad at cleric lvl 4 and Fireburst about to hit mage lvl 4.
Things are looking good!

Too bad I got shafted with the random loot at the end of Waterworks!
+2 Dexterity ring with a 1/day Eagle's Splendor spell in it?

FANTABULOUS!

Not so because it has a min level requirement of LVL 7!!!1

And it is Bind on Acquire, so I can't trade it, nor put it up for Auction. Has to sit 3 levels on the bank until I can use it. And I was so hoping I could upgrade my cleric's DEX 10 score... crying

Oh well, let's see what tomorrow brings to the elven wizard Fireburst when I complete lvl 4 for her. I also need to level my Tyro-esque (read: multiclass) female 'forged character. She's Fighter 1/Wizard 1/ Rogue 1. The rest of her build is for maximum Dexterity powah, but I got to level her up and soloing with her is too hard. If Misho helps me out, I'll be able to get to lvl 4 and get the next Rogue level, and it's easier from there on forward.

I was reading the DDO forums. Given that the game is unique in its class because 1) it allows multiclassing, up to a point (3 lvls max) and 2) semi-twitch combat rules the day (it's not static numbers that affect combat, you have to manually attack, block, move, etc in order to survive), it is funny that people playing the game have invented terms for the game that are very peculiar:

Sword and Board: means using a weapon and a shield. Seems to be a rare view lately, as most players melee with 2 handed weapons, or only one weapon at all, without a shield for protection

Batman build: take 2 levels of rogue, and 2 levels of paladin. Get the rest of the levels in any one class you want and you have Evasion, Fear Immunity, Aura of Good for extra AC, Lay on Hands, a Smite Evil under the belt for bosses, a moderate ability to search/disarm traps and locks. Ain't life in the fantasy world neat?

Well, I'll post some more ramblings later on. Got to finish work and get some needed rest first before going off to kill off dozens of stinking' digital kobolds!
