I got off of school and called my grandmother to ask her what she wanted to eat for lunch and she said Burger King. Now, you must understand that it is rare when she does have an appetite and even more astonishing when she knows exactly what she feels like eating. So, I was astounded that she told me this...the next thought in my head was...where the hell can I find a Burger King, i thought there used to be one on campus at the university, but guess not. I looked all over and it seems as if Burger is an endangered species here, i hardly see them anywhere anymore! Then, I remebered where I had seen one...when I had a car, I passed by it plenty of times. stare Case and point...when I had a car...naturally the bus and my feet get me where I need to go nowadays...unless, I get a ride from a friend, but I hate to inconvience them so much. So, I found this Burger King, no thanks to any students of whom I'd ask directions for. They didn't know. So, I ordered her food and I ordered mine. I walked across the street to look for a bus that would take me home, I thought I had found one...but later, after getting on it and riding for a while, I realized that wasn't the case. That wasn't the case at all! xp I know that I live close to downtown, but I don't live in the middle of it and that's exactly where it was taking me, so jumped off at the first transit center that it came to and boarded the Metrorail, but realized that it wasn't taking me back to my school, but to the downtown campus. stressed Oy!
So, I get off and walk down a street that I know will take me home. It's been like an hour since I had called my grandmother and she was probably hungry and worried about me by now, so I decided to give one of my friends a call, because she lived around there. She said that she'd come and get me. I called my grandma and told her not to worry, I was on my way home. My friend came to pick me up and my grandma got her food...almost two hours after I had initially called her in the first place! wink THE END redface stare stressed xp sweatdrop rolleyes
