Maybe it is because I want to just air what is going on in my life. But that argument falls part because I'm needlessly cryptic in my language if I want this to just say what I feel. I mean, it's not like I write;

(I do recognize that I'm not from the 1950's and wouldn’t type in such a manner but it's over-emphasis to prove a point). So, if it's not to proclaim a point to the populace and it's not to put forward simply how I am feeling, then what could it be?
Consider for a moment who reads it. Lucy, maybe one other person. Presumably, these people are friends of mine. It could be argued that I write to send (albeit cryptic) overtures to my friends about the state of my mind. But again, the fact that none of my friends in northern Ireland read this and anything I put here Lucy either ignores (presumably because it is dribble or a meaningless quote) or simply asks me to explain, refutes the idea that this is a cry-for-help of sorts to my friends.
Why then, the question goes, do I write silly, cryptic, unread, incomprehensible messages that usually sum up the rather jumbled and disturbed state that is my mind in a sentence or two?
