"Hmm..." Chu said, hard earned gold jingling in his pockets. Chu was the type to use money as soon as he got it, even if he diddn't know what to buy. "Hmm...What if I bought another companion?", Chu said to his comrades. This sparked a reaction from all his buddies. Chubot just stared at him. Chubot was surprised by this question. Chu already had him, Kyuubi and his shadow minions...Who else could he want? The shadow sprites whispered amongst themselves...It was hardly whispering, considering how much they were chattering. Chu couldnt understand the sprites communication, though. Kyuubi chuckled to himself. "Chu's got more than he can carry...", he thought. Then, off in the distance, Chu's ears picked up a sound...almost organic. "Hmm?" Chu ran closer to the sound as it became clearer and clearer. "Chu! Wait!!" Kyuubi "Called" out, sprinting a fair distance ahead of Chubot. Chu cleared out a small bush wall and found the source of the sounds. An O RLY owl... Chu thought. He then treaded lightly twoard it, smiling to himself. He wasn't trying to be stealthy, though. The owl glanced over at him, using it's big wings to walk along the ground. "Hoot?" The owl was inquirious...Who was this person? Chu beckoned the creature closer...still smiling. There was something about this person... He seemed like the caring type... "Hoot!" The owl took flight (somewhat), heading straight for Chu. Chu exclaimed "EH?!!" and readied his hands to defend. But the owl wasnt aming for his body. It was aiming for his head. Plop! The owl pearched itself on Chu's head. Chu just sat there for a second, replaying what had just occured in his head. When he came to what happened just now, there was no reaction. He just looked up at a content O RLY as it seemed to almost fall asleep on his head. "HEY!! GIMME MY O RLY!!" A Gaian in black and red ran up to Chu, and she did not look pleased. "Your owl? You should take better care of it so it doesnt run off". "I was selling him in the marketplace, but he ran off...". "Oh? For how much?". Off in the background, Chu's comrades were watching in confusion. Chubot was still taking in all that happened... The sprites were flying about in disarray, and Kyuubi knew what Chu was thinking...He WAS Telepathic...Then the Gaian walked away, waving. "Thanks! I'll take good care of 'im!". Then he beckoned his friends over, a grin spread wide across his face, along with the owl still pearched on his head. "Gentlemen, meet your new friend"! Chubot's facial expression went automatically to O_O. Kyuubi was none too surprised...The sprites spinning in shock. "Nnh~! What am I gonna do about my ears! They're all scrunched up there"! "Why'd you buy it then, Chu?" Kyuubi asked. "I wasn't gonna leave the little guy there...Besides he's on MY head...Oh...!" Chu looked up at his head. There were little bumps forming on the owl...His ears felt a lot less irritated. Woah...Chu thought.....Is it...? It was. Suddenly, a pair of fox ears were sticking out from the owl. Chu's fox ears. With surprise in his voice, Chu stated "Okay, now we have two new assignments! Finding this little guy a name, and selling this bow! Follow me"! Chu began walking twoard his store in the marketplace, the grin on his face showing strong. Chubot's monitor showed some text: Whats next? A Gwee? "Don't give him any ideas" Kyuubi immediatly stated, trotting along behind Chu....eventually the rest of the group caught up.
