He wakes up...still groggy from the activities of last night...smiling for appearing in the arms of his lover, Riku... Chu thought "Another great day to be with him"! But....somehow he felt different....he slowly released from the embrace of Riku and sat up...over by a nearby tree, he saw Chubot deactivated, Kyuubi curled up beside him...the eight Shadow Whillowhisps (or Sprites, as Chu called them) were fluttering about in the shadow cast by the tree...Heh...A Shadow within a shadow...He then felt something furry brush up against him..."Probably Rikkun's tail", he assumed. He carressed it ever so gently and shuddered, as if someone had groped him. Shivering fingers followed the path the "tail" seemed to make...when he reached the end, he tugged on it and let out a small yelp of pain. "Eh?! Whats going...?!" In slow surprise and shock...he came to the realization.
The tail was his.
Chu tugged on it again, and let out another cry. "What...what's happened to me?!!" He scratched his head. Or he would have...but something kept him from doing so. "Nnh! Namda?" he could feel a fuzzy shape...concave. "Oh dear...." Chu thought...dumbfoundly he ran over to where Chubot was, Kyuubi stirring in his sleep. He got down on his knees, and looked into Chubots monitor to find what no one would suspect.
Ears. Fox ears.
It can't be! But...!
Chu reached for his gills, he knew grabbing those would prove his demon nature had not changed.
He instead felt...thin wires...almost like piano wires...
Whiskers.
Kyuubi opened his eyes, squinting to see the shillouette in the sunlight. He then groweled softly, but stopped....sniffed the air around the stranger, and recognized the scent...and his assumption was confirmed from when the figure turned around...
Chu.
"Chu....Chu-sama...what happened...?" Chu couldnt answer....he was only focused on one thing....HOW DID IT HAPPEN...? Then...slowly he turned to Riku, who was peacefully still sleeping*....Chu then smiled softly..."It was....his seed... his love....". Chu sat down (Sat right back up again, for he had sat on his tail) and stared into the horizon...waiting for his other comerades to awaken.
