In a small clearing the remains of a battle lay still in the damp early morning. Blood, weapons, and dead bodies covered the clearing, but then there was momevment. A women around the age of 18 pushed herself up. Her eyes stung from the blood that flowed down her head, wiping away as much as possible she looked around. Cursing her bad luck she got up and pushed the armor that covered her body off, leaving her in only a white tank top, that was covered in mud and blood, and her long black pants that also had some blood and mudd stains. She sighed as the tension on her body was realized, "No man gets left behind..." she said mockingly, "I guess it doesn't work on women..." she whispered and picked up her fallen sword. Then stumbling she turned away and left the battle field behind.

Two days had past and she stumbled upon a small village, she looked a bit shock to find one so far out. She patted her stomach as it growled and walked into it, "It wouldn't hurt to stop and rest." She thought to herself. Then walking into a small food cavern she sat down and laid her sword next to her. The air was filled with the faint auroma of sake and smoke. Quickly she order her food and waited, looking around she noticed a couple of samauri and more then one bandits. Ignoring them she looked out the small window on her side. Other then the common criminals that walked the streets, the village seemed peaceful. Her food came and she started in on it when a sudden commotion reached her ears. Still chewing on her ramen she returned to looking out the window. Her eyes widened and she stood up just in time for a man to break through the wall and crash down onto her table, "My ramen!" she shouted as the people around her started to scream and run. She reached over and grabbed the man, "Whats the big idea ruining my meal?!" she yelled at him angrily. All he did was point and looking in the direction she saw a man weilding a sword and laughing coldly, "Whats the matter?" he hissed, "I thought you theives were gonna kill me and take my money?" The man looked coldly towards her. The man she had picked up wiggled out of her grasp and ran away begging not to be hurt. The man put away his sword and walked to her, he smiled and waved at her, "Sorry for the enterruption!" he said with a laugh, "I'm Hino, let me buy you another ramen..." She was startled at his change, "I'm Yomi..." she stated and then pointed at him, "How can you be so calm?" She asked annoyed. Hino looked at her and waved his hand around, "I just hate criminals, but I do like women who..." He started to go off and talk about things besides the insident. Yomi uncovered and helped some others replace the small wall while listening to Hino. Then she sat down and looked at him, "You...are...weird..." Hino looked at her and pointed to himself, "Me? Weird?! how?" he stammered, "All I did was stand up for myself!" Yomi sighed and rested her chin on her hand.
