This year I joined the Youth Orchestra of the Rockies and I loved it! I had so much fun this summer in orchestra and I loved working with other people who are serious about their music! I'm such a band geek... I know it... but this season we're playing this really weird song and so far I don't like it... well I don't like my part anyways... why does the oboe always get such boring parts? grrr... oh well... but I do love the director, Cynthia... she's so funny without even trying! She laughs so oddly and it's hilarious... and she sometimes mispronounces words.... like "mambo"... oh and this summer we got to play the national anthem at the Rockies game! I actually walked on Coor's field! It was awesome... and I met this girl who talked like this guy who used to go to my school... I can't explain it, but it was creepy... and she had an english horn! *sigh* I wish I had an english horn... but they're so expensive...
