A swirling sensation,
a desire spiraling out of control.
One cannot sustain themselves
in this sinful temptation -
like a drug
it intoxicates.
It slurs the very way we think,
slowing our thoughts and
quickening our breaths.
Everything is better
when you know it shouldn't happen;
so why not let it?
Sheets twisted like smoke,
tumbling throughout the room
and clogging our vision.
Eyes pop open,
to be alone.
Such strong desire,
controlling;
an addiction.
Nobody to lust for
in this empty tenament.
