if instead of being with the fabricated family with a normal life as alice yi & friendship/betrayal with ed;;
ren was raised from aged 8 - 12 by a death cult?

so she has an even weirder mindset than the other amnesia ren worlds

ok so this cult worshipped death; and not in the sense where they were all afraid of death & wanted to be immortal
just normal fear, but abnormal awe
idk how the cult members figured out she was not permanently dying - perhaps they were going to use her as a sacrifice before discovering her alive again? or perhaps she appeared out of thin air (via shishou's last wish)

they weren't super mass murderers but they didn't shy away from killing either
altho once ren entered the equation there was less killing of innocents??

so this ren goes by "shi" (aka death) - shi-chan; also shi = c = sea = umi so umi-chan still works

anyways shi-chan was taught how to predict death (when, how, etc details) & also was worshipped (sitting on a pedestal, vaguely aware of the world??)

she has a more lackadaisacal view of death, but also not the seeking death mindset of original ren? somehow this death cult normalized death for her lol

also cult members did ritual sacrifices to her; except shi-chan wanted edible sacrifices mostly;; she got a lot of crocodiles/big animals lol

also since shi was able to foresee deaths, she also had something to nudge those predictions astray a bit (divert the death) via a willing sacrifice; or rather the person asking for it had to be the person giving the sacrifice - their heart - with the recipient of the ritual being the one that got their lifespan increased; the day of sacrifice had to be between the last full moon before the predicted death & the death day;


i'm guessing zack & co still happens; except her interactions with zack are probably even weirder - she thinks his killings towards her are his worshipping?? and later aki has an even harder time diverting her towards regular hobbies

also the cult convinced her that when she 'sleeps' (dies? but not permanently) the world as she knows it ceases to exist until she awakes
so she ends up not sleeping much ahh
possibly she realizes this can't be true, but who knows;; either way she has sleeping issues, but different from other rens


and then melronc happens
and at the end she ends up with ken-chan & ami-chan (ambrus) in the forms of a dog and cat;
and before the cult refinds her & takes her back to them, ambrus kills them all

i think in this version ambrus feels even more repent; altho he doesn't completely regret it - ren still lives, despite everything.
