+ an aku who was born in the modern world (ofc his backstory is diff & this one doesn't have the drive to become a master swordsman or anything; that said shiraiya-dono is always one step from being a bad dad, so this one just tips him over) (+ an accompanying ren who solves his name issues by giving him the name asahi)
