The pain and loneliness she thought was gone apparently wasn't. She still felt lonely, she still felt so unwanted. It was her night to do the dishes. As she was cleaning the sharp carving knife she could see her reflection in it. The light shimmered in her eyes. The knife was caressing her pale wrist. After all she went through, after her friend helped her out so much, how could she do it? She ran the blade across her wrist deeply seeing the blood. Blood on pale skin. In her eyes it marked a bit of beauty but in others.....it marked suicide. Perhaps it was. Perhaps she did want to die, but if this were true then why didn't she cut herself deeper in order to die?
