Crouching Tiger, Hidden Brother
Hill Road - 4:57pm
Brendon raced down the street to the fair.
But as he turned at a corner, there was an obstacle waiting for him.
Janey: Brendon!
Said his 17-year old older sister, while the wind blew her red hair around.
Janey: Brendon, you promised to babysit Milo for me! I knew you were skateboarding! You alway do, or go out with Kelly, or doing something stupid! Milo saw you from home skateboarding.
Brendon: Teloscope?
Janey: Yes.
Brendon: Why did we get him that?
Janey: Anyway, You said you would while I went to the doctor's. Remember?
Brendon: Oh, yeah! I was watching TV and you came in.... uh...Can't you take him with you?
Janey: No, the lady with the dog is going with her dog. Milo is terrified of that ugly dog.
Brendon: How 'bout Chaud?
Janey: After-school things. You are the only one left I can count on; since everybody else can't.
Brendon: So I'm a last resort?
Janey: Well... yes. Mom and Dad are away on Vacation, and Dad said to use you as a last resort. Mom said to have faith in you so...
Janey gave Brendon a backpack.
Janey: Her is Milo's stuff. Toys, water, snacky fish, Super Terrific Happy Sushi...
Brendon: Where's Milo anyway?
Milo: Here I am!
Four-year old, Milo popped out of a bush holding a plush tiger.
Milo: Can we play hide and seek?
Janey: Bye guys!
Janey kissed them and ran off to the doctor's office far away to the other side of town.
Brendon: Wanna go to the fair?
Milo: Yay!
Brendon: And later, we'll superise Chaud at school and Janey at home! We can all play hide and seek! You love that game!
So Brendon picked up Milo, and rode slowly to the fair.
Drowned Man's Creek - 5:26pm
Brendon and Milo rode up to Ashton.
Ashton: Hey, Milo! Brendon! How long does it take to get a hot dog? Where are they? stressed
Brendon: uh... he he sweatdrop
Ashton: Are you up to something? Or did you eat them with Milo when he came maybe earlier at the Hot Dog stand?
Brendon: Er.. the second one! sweatdrop
Ashton: gonk Dude! Oh well...I'll get them!
Brendon: Can you take care of Milo while I... go to.. the washroom?
Ashton: Ok. stare Hmm...
Brendon: ?
Ashton: Your oddly sweaty...
Milo: Brendon?
Brendon whispered his dilema to Milo.
Milo: Ok! Bye! It will take long there, Ashton; there's a line beacause of the sickness from the Mini Dogs like last year!
Brendon: Thanks, guys!
And so, Brendon rode off on his skateboard, to the Hill, and to Kelly
Next Time: One problem solved. But when he gets to the top of the hill, he finds an unexpected guest or two
