There is just something about when this house is empty that I absolutely love. It’s just so serene. It’s as if the fighting and the pushing and the screaming doesn’t exist. It’s as if everything is actually peaceful and perfect. All of the nice things that we have in this big nice house just make it seem like I have a perfect life. The cats come to greet me and the heater turns on. Everything is joyful and comes to life. I just love taking my laptop downstairs and sitting on the couch with a cup of tea and my phone. To top that all off, I have a wonderful boyfriend to keep me company via text message. Oh, he's definitely the best. And the worst at the same time. He's a trip, he is. But he's absolutely wonderful. He's the perfect amount of sugar, spice, and everything nice and ******** up.
Granted that this peaceful tranquility never lasts long, whenever someone come home, they bring chaos along with them. Of course whenever someone walks in they bring an air of "hot s**t" with them. The atmosphere feels heavier. It's not. Yelling begins. Stress settles. Sigh.
I wish I could just be alone in this big empty house.
